We are learning to share our interpretation of what the artist is telling us through their pieces.

Last week on Friday we went to the Art gallery. It was in the Auckland city and we went in buses. The bus was full when we got there we had to wait outside the doors there was some adults and teachers we saw some up top.

When we got into the art gallery we went to a studio. There was jar made out of cardboard on the table. we had to draw pictures and symbols to tell a story .We had to get into groups, I was with Alfa’s dad. we went the Learning Centre,it was colourful in there you can make shadows and there were  mirrors.

At the art gallery you got to sand one meter away from the art. we went in a room and there was lots of art and the teacher was doing a quiz for owe group.Then we had to draw a pictures what came next and they were.

My favour part was the hungry pixels inside the learning centre. you can see yourself and can make shadows.

our inquiry this term is called art attack here is my title card and three questions that I hope to find to the answers for it

on cross country day  I felt excited when I walked up to the starting line. ‘Mr burt said “go!” it was exciting when the year 5 boys  were  running. I takes a deep breath the grass was muddy it was a hard and long run.

We had house colours there Takitimu (yellow), Te Arawa (red), Tainui (blue) and Mataatua (green). We had cross country on our school field

we ran to the reserve we went out of the gate and into the paddocks

I could feel mud squishing between my toes.I could see the finish line

form long distance. I gave 100% sprinting to the finish line.

On Friday we had assembling it was a sunny day Miss V called out the winning team. The winning team was Takitimu (yellow) they got a lollipop.They came to or the cassl room and they gave it to the winning team I came 19th place.

In C.R.E. we talked about Edmund Hillary he was the first one

life education caravan

have you been to the life education caravan before? Last week on tuesday our class walked to the life education caravan for our session. Lynn was our teacher and she talked to us about how we can help our bodies grow. We learn about five things that our bodies need. one things is water you need five to six glasses of water cup a day. Ever day you got to sleep for eight hours or more to your bodies can grow you need to eat at last five vegetables or more. At the life education caravan we got in to our group we got to name foods from our culture group. Like Maori Cook Island Niuean and Afghanistan. We saw Tam she was a posters girl she was showing as the bodies parts. I will tell you some of the bodies parts one things is the our brains sends messages to the rest of our bodies In the life education caravan I felt happy and it was cool in said the caravan I hope I see harold the giraffe.

of the story today is when Daniel got thrown into

a den of lions and he prayed to God.  God rescued him.  

this week we are learning about length for measurement. today I made a paper plane to learn about length and show distance. I measurement it using steps. I thought that it was going to fly 10 steps across the deck outsaid our class but it only flew 4 steps instead.

My Aunty

My  Aunty Sifa is special because she buys me things and what I ask for. her Favourite food is hot dogs. she likes to watch TV, sleep and play on her phone. My aunty Sifa works at tip top thats where they make icecream. She brings some home for me too. She is 36. She like going to the mall at Sylvia Park to eat and look around. Aunty Sifa gets home at 8:30pm that is our bed time.
